Albuquerque

(*PICTURES COMING... Can't get them to Upload to the blog today!! ARGGHH)

Trying to keep ourselves busy, and prepare for a new baby... Eddie and I decided to make some short little trips (on his days off) to GET OUT of Roswell for at least a few hours! We headed up to Ruidoso last week and found it to be a mix of a crappy version of Jackson Hole and Lava Hot Springs! It was nice to be in the mountains, but didn't have too much to offer. Dylan was SO excited though that he kept asking where we were going to camp! Poor guy, I didn't have the heart to tell him that I don't think we will do much camping in New Mexico... after experiencing Utah we don't have much to show him here, not to mention there is a NO fire warning all around the state. What fun is camping if you can't have an open fire?

Our next little trip was the 2 1/2 hour drive to Albuquerque. We planned this one in advance only because I needed to meet with an OB to schedule our repeat C-Section. The doctor was very nice, and I didn't see any dead bugs on the floor (like I did in the Roswell's OB office). Stuff like that kinda makes you feel better when you are going to give birth! The doctor made a joke that I was only using her for a c-section... I had to laugh and couldn't agree more!

While up in ABQ, we tried to do as much as we could that we couldn't do in Roswell... first thing, we got Dylan a "Zuka Juice"! He loves them and always wants purple, but hold the fruit! We walked around and went miniature golfing... played at the hotel, and went to the zoo, aquarium, and botanical gardens! Those were actually much neater than I had expected! The zoo was huge and looked very nice and the gardens had a children's garden that had some pretty incredible looking features. We ended the day at the doctors office, and then Chick-fil-A. That is Eddie's favorite and he hasn't had it since April! He was pretty excited about it.

Our weekend trip away was nice, and I hope will tie us over for a little while until we can get out and do something else, or at least until we make it back to ABQ for our c-section August 25th! I am very excited!

I miss my friends and family... and those few of you that check out the blog!
