So yesterday was kinda exciting for those who are into Air Force One... and Obama! He was in New Mexico and actually landed at Roswell's Airport!! For those who don't know, the airport runway is larger than the one in SLC. They do tons of training for larger planes etc. The President had a meeting with some oil folks which is further east and closer to Texas, but I guess Roswell is the safest place for him to land without a ton of interference. I was one of those who tried to get some pictures!!
This next set of photos I actually stole from the controller working! They had all the trainee's leave the tower and left it staffed with only those who needed to be there. .... I wonder why he got better pictures than me!! (Thanks Sizemore for letting me steal for my blog!)
